After 20 years, we don't feel like we would recommend anyone to visit this place. Not any more! Unfortunately, we don't have any hope about its future either. Kusadasi was a beach resort town and a very important cruise ship destination. It is only 18km from the famous ancient city, Ephesus . Kusadasi was reputed for being one of the most attractive cities of the Aegean, as it is close to the important historical sites such as Ephesus , Temple of Artemis , Goddess Artemis , House of Virgin Mary , Seven Sleepers , Didyma , Priene , Miletos , Hierapolis - Pamukkale – the principal of ancient times, making it an ideal base for Aegean cruise ships . Kusadasi has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, providing a long tourism season. The city is bathed in sunshine for 300 days of the year, which makes it a perfect holiday destination. Kusadasi was not only perfectly located near to significant historical sites, it was also famous for its beautiful beaches , lively nightlife and the hospitality of its people . Kusadasi had erupted into one of Turkey ’s most extensive resorts from its simple origins as a fishing village and a day there is filled with endless possibilities – Visit one of the many beaches , sample the delicious Turkish cuisine, shop in the colorful grand bazaar, splash around at one of the waterparks, relax quietly, treat yourself to a Turkish bath or enjoy the lively nightlife on offer. There was plenty to do during the day but if you, once you’ve finished working on your tan or shopping for bargains, the town really comes alive. The pretty little cafes and restaurants that litter the cobblestone streets and palm-lined boulevard of Kusadasi tend to liven up and that’s when the real fun starts.
